In 2022, Shreyas had amazing outing in the ODIs. He scored his maiden ODI hundred against South Africa in October and scored at a rapid pace quite prolifically against every opponent. The right-handed batter scored 724 runs in just 15 innings. He amassed these runs at a strike rate of 91 with his average being 55.69. Iyer also stroked six fifties and one century. The talented batter will look to continue his good form in 2023 and probably seal his spot for the 2023 World Cup.

Making his comeback to the Indian ODI set-up, Shami will look to give his best to cement his place in the ODI squad. The speedster played his last ODI game against England in July 2022. Shami has some impressive numbers in the 50-over format. He has played 82 matches and has scalped 152 wickets. However, his economy is on a little higher side at 5.6. He also has a five-wicket haul to his name.

Siraj had a decent outing last year in ODIs. The right-arm pacer played 15 games and scalped 23 wickets. Siraj’s economy was also phenomenal bowling at 4.62. Since making his debut, Siraj has improved a lot as a white-ball bowler. Apart from his ability to swing the new ball, he has also worked on his death bowling. The 28-year-old also has a mean bouncer in his arsenal. Siraj will be looking to the make most of the given opportunity in the upcoming ODI series against SriLanka.
