The pacer uploaded his practice session on his official Instagram account. The pacer sustained an injury during the practice session before the India vs Bangladesh 1st ODI. He uploaded a video of his preparations.

KL Rahul on the other hand is going through a rough patch as he has been struggling for form. His inconsistency with the bat is a serious concern for Team India. In the video uploaded on his Instagram handle, Rahul looks to be in good touch with the bat. Rahul spent considerable time in the middle and was timing the ball well. He can also be seen playing his favourite shots.

Rohit Sharma who is recovering from his finger injury will continue to lead Team India in the three-match ODI series. The BCCI has asked the ODI team to assemble in Guwahati by January 8 with the series all set to begin on January 10. Besides Mohammad Shami, Team India will be boosted by the return of Jasprit Bumrah.
The premium pacer has been added last minute in the squad which would strengthen the bowling attack. Bumrah has been out of action since last year due to a back injury sustained against Australia in T20I series.
