SriLanka have set sail for India on the final day of 2022. The Asia Cup winners have reached Mumbai ahead of their limited overs series against the Men in Blue.
Dasun Shanaka’s side plays 3 T20Is starting on January 3rd. The ODI series will follow the T20 series.
After some rest and New Year celebrations, the Lankan lions will hit the ground running. SL had a training session in Colombo before departure. They will have one in Mumbai on Sunday.
SriLanka have had little success on their tours to India but Shanaka’s side have known to punch above their weight. The squad is boosted by the likes of Avishka Fernando, who will be keen to stamp their mark.
