Rajkumar Sharma says India captain is hungry for runs after leaving captaincy

Speaking further, Sharma says team India head coach Rahul Dravid will have to work closely with the India Test skipper and work out some clear plans about what the captain-coach duo wants from the team.

He says every captain has a different style and it’s more of a coach’s job to gel with him. Referring to MS Dhoni, Rajkumar Sharma said Virat Kohli is completely opposite to what the former India skipper was. While Dhoni was cool, composed, Kohli is very aggressive.

Rajkumar says, “Every captain has a different style and a coach has to gel with him. MS Dhoni was captain before Kohli took over. One did not have to say many things to him as he was a cool campaigner, and he also was not very expressive. Kohli, on the other hand, is very aggressive and he is clear of what he wants from his team.”
