Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma headlines India’s stunning photoshoot ahead of the mega important Test series. India take on the Proteas for a 2 match Test series as Rohit and Kohli make a comeback into the team after ODI World Cup Final Loss.
India will be taking on the Rainbow Nation aiming to break their jinx. India has never won a Test series in South Africa previously. With WTC Points available, India will be raring to go at the hosts aiming to det their dominance on the Final Frontier.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted wearing their white Test cricket jersey in a lovely photoshoot. Joining the duo were young southpaw Yashasvi Jaiswal and ace speedster Mohammed Siraj.
As for the batting department, Rohit and Kohli will lead India’s charge to take revenge on the Proteas. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj will spearhead India’s bowling attack. Mohammed Shami will be a major miss for Team India. The ODI World Cup’s highest wicket taker has been ruled out of the series with an ankle injury.
In terms of the batting department, Yashasvi Jaiswal is likely to open the batting with Rohit Sharma as he did when India tour the Caribbeans before the Asia Cup. Young Jaiswal will be aiming to continue his fine form as Baby GOAT Shubman Gill will try to settle at number 3.
Down the order, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will settle in at 5 and 6. Ravindra Jadeja is expected to be the lone spinner as India aim to got hard at the Proteas batter with 4 pacers.
