India’s ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is most likely to feature in the playing XI for the 2nd IND vs SA Test after missing out in the first game. The southpaw was ruled out of the first Test after complaining of upper back spasms, leading to Ashwin being included in his place. India lost the 1st Test to the Proteas by an innings and 32 runs as the Men in Blue had no answers to the fiery SA’s bowling attack.
IND vs SA: Jadeja to feature in 2nd Test?
As per India.com, Jadeja will take the field in the 2nd Test scheduled to commence on January 3 in Cape Town. The report states that the southpaw was seen doing warm-ups before Day 3 of the 1st Test at the Centurion, igniting hopes of his return to the side. According to PTI, Jadeja did 30-40 meters short strides along with other fitness drills in the morning session of practice on Day 3 and did not look uncomfortable.
