During Day 3 of the first Test match between India and South Africa, Pant completed 100 dismissals in Test cricket as a wicketkeeper. The 24-year-old reached the milestone in just 26 Test matches and became the fastest Indian wicketkeeper to record 100 Test dismissals. Pant bettered MS Dhoni’s record of 36 matches to complete 100 dismissals in Tests. Kiran More (39) and Nayan Mongia (26) are third and fourth in the list respectively.
Pant also holds the record for fastest 50 Test dismissals by an Indian wicketkeeper.
Rishabh Pant has 92* catches and 8 stumping to his name in 26 Tests till now. He has effected 130* dismissals in his International cricket career.

Apart from wicketkeeping, Pant has also shown his batting prowess in the longest format of the game. In a short career, the 24-year-old has already created many records. He has 1557* Test runs to his name in Test cricket including 3 centuries (in England, Australia, and India) and seven half-centuries.
He became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a hundred in England when he completed his century in last the Test at the Oval in 2018. Later in 2019, Pant scored a ton in Australia and became the only Indian wicketkeeper to achieve this feat.
