IND vs SA LIVE – IND vs SA 2nd T20I– The second T20I between India and South Africa will have new glimpse as the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has planned to unveil the new dressing room in the Brabati Stadium. The stadium which has gone several renovations is already installed with a new flood lights and ground cover. New Dressing room for Hardik and Rishabh –

The state of the art dressing room has multiple facilities with newly installed furniture while the players area has space for their kits. A big TV screen has been installed as well in the team where coach Rahul Dravid will be seen analyzing the plans.

A patterned new blue floor along with couple of tables for spare time have also been put in place in the dressing room. Orange and grey colour chairs along with couple of sofas are also installed in the renovated dressing room.

New Flood Lights –For the upcoming T20 match, the old metal lights are replaced by new sports lights. For a cricket match, 1100 lux brightness is required and the new lights will have a maximum of 3800 lux, which will help for Multimedia purposes.

The stadium had underwent huge changes after cyclone struck in 2019 which damaged the stadium partially. The OCA has once again gone and one a brilliant job as the stadium is ready to host the India and South Africa contest.

Ground cover from England-

  • With slight chances of rain playing spoilsport for the Cuttack T20, OCA has made sure to be prepared.
  • They have splurged a whopping amount of 78 lakhs and brought a ground cover from England. The quality of pitch covers in England are top-notch.
  • Even if rains threaten to play a spoilsport, these pitch covers will make the task easier by quickly soaking it up.

Both teams have used the flood lights to extensive use as they were seen in the nets on Saturday. The players will now officially use the new dressing room as the stadium also has an increased capacity of 5000 from last time around.
