IND vs SA LIVE: Follow India vs South Africa Live – A wide range of guidelines has been issued by the Odisha Govt ahead of India vs South Africa T20I at Cuttack. The government has issued a sunstroke warning for the fans and thus adequate measures should be followed. All the visitors have been asked to enter the stadium peacefully in a line and carry either handkerchief or a towel. They also have been urged to wear white light cloths and caps to keep themselves cool from the scorching heat wave condition.

In a bid to beat the heat and take precautions against the sunstroke, fans have been advised to carry towels. Fans have also been advised to wear light-colored clothes and carry caps with them. Several items like water bottles, sticks, lighter and helmets have been banned inside the stadium.

To stop the spread of Covid, the usage of face masks has also been made compulsory. Fans have been encouraged to drink lots of water to keep themselves hydrated. Both the teams carried out their practice session today in the afternoon, ahead of the important game tomorrow.

The fans will be allowed to enter the stadium at 3 PM tomorrow while the game begins at 7 PM. Items that can be potentially thrown inside the stadium like water bottles, sticks, lighter and helmets have been banned.

Though water bottles have been banned inside the stadium, the government has assured that adequate water facilities have been installed inside the stadium. Fans will further not be allowed to carry any food items inside the stadium.

Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra said that 62 platoons of police force have been put into action to maintain stability during the game.  “We have made adequate arrangements to ensure that spectators enjoy the match without any hassle. There would be special security cordons in and outside the stadium,” 

“We appeal to spectators not to bring any electronic equipment, sharp objects and coins as well. Only mobile phones will be allowed. As per BCCI guidelines, the OCA has also appealed to spectators to wear face masks and there will be no entry without masks. All the police personnel will also wear masks,” Mishra added.
