- The crowd in Cuttack and nearby destinations have showed a great response to the ticket sale as all available tickets for the fans are sold.
- According to the Orissa Cricket Association, all the counters are closed for offline sale while online sale has already gone shut.
- The demand for the ticket sale can be seen by the closing of the counters a day before the match.
- The cheap range of tickets from Rs 700 is also one of the main reasons for the huge number of ticket sales.
- Fans have shown a great response to the second T20I but will have to follow Covid-19 restrictions as well.
Black Market at its peak-
Black marketers are at peak as they are selling tickets online at exorbitant prices. Going by the report, miscreants have purchased tickets in bulk and now sell them for huge amounts online. Miscreants have also taken to a digital formula to earn a quick buck. They have come up with an advertisement in OLX to sell tickets.
According to a source a ticket worth Rs 700 of Gallery 2 was sold for Rs 5,000 and Gallery 3 ticket carrying a tag of Rs 900 was sold at over Rs 5,000. Original price of a ticket of Gallery 4 is Rs 7,000 but that is sold for Rs 15,000. In the advertisement available in OLX, a person can be seen holding more than 10 tickets when a person is entitled to buy only two tickets, be it online of offline.

Masks made compulsory –
- Ahead of the match every visitor to the stadium will have to mandatorily wear face masks and those who violate the rule will be strictly penalized.
- The precautionary measure has been taken to ensure the safety of the fans amidst rising cases of Covid-19 in the country.
Both teams ready for the contest amidst ticket chaos-
- South Africa currently lead the series 1-0 after a string 7-wicket win in New Delhi in the first T20I.
- Spinners are expected to play a big role as Yuzvendra Chahal will prove to be a decisive factor.
- While India will bank on the bowling brilliance, it is worth to note that only one bowler ended with economy of less than 10.
- The Indian team will have its net practice session between 1 PM and 4 PM on Saturday
- While the Proteas will have their net sessions scheduled from 5 PM to 8 PM on the same day.
