Indian captain Virat Kohli looked set to overturn his century drought on Sunday but a rash shot saw him perish after yet another good start during the IND vs SA 1st Test at Centurion. The skipper walked into bat after Lungi Ngidi had struck twice of consecutive deliveries, but played himself in before brandishing some delightful shots.

Kohli looked particularly comfortable driving the ball while leaving the ball judiciously outside the off stump in his partnership with centurion KL Rahul. However,  he failed to build on those crisp boundaries after chasing a 6th stump ball off Lungi Ngidi to depart for 35.
