IND vs SA: Ravi Shastri says India favourite to win – After falling short in 2018, former head coach Ravi Shastri did not have the chance to take revenge after stepping down from the role. “There couldn’t have been a better time for Team India to prove their mettle. Virat (Kohli) has been an impeccable leader and has got a talented team to go along with it,” Ravi Shastri said while speaking to ‘Star Sports’ about the upcoming series that also features three ODIs in January.

Ravi Shastri said Virat Kohli-led Indian team has got the firepower to upstage them in the three-match Test series that starts on Sunday. Shastri, whose tenure ended recently at the end of India’s campaign in the T20 World Cup, also said that he will always back the Men in Blue.
