The IND vs SA T20I series remained a draw. However, the ODI series grants a chance for either side to take away the series. Only a win in the last game and either of the sides are capable of pulling something out of the hat to baffle their opposition.
Series in Line – KL Rahul & Co ready for series decider
Tony de Zorzi’s unbeaten 119 in the 2nd ODI dug the grave for the Men in Blue. Team India needs to dust off their poor form and come back roaring. India looked completely different from what they showed in the first game of the series. A complete mismatch both in bowling and batting guided the hosts to level the series.
KL Rahul and Co will now have to start from scratch to settle the tie. With repetitive lapses in batters failing to convert big scores will surely be a concern for Rahul Dravid. The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson have to be fearless and go all guns blazing to register a good score on the board.
As for the Proteas, they need to continue their momentum. Both Zorzi and Reeza Hendricks hammered century and half century respectively. With the ball Nandre Burger was impressive with his three wicket haul. Beuran Hendricks and Keshav Maharaj provided huge assistance after bagging 2 wickets apiece.
