Not only did Aiden Markram score 106 runs to give his team a chance to take the series 2-0, but he also overshadowed Virat Kohli, who was the highest run scorer in the match prior to Markram’s scintillating knock.
Kohli had been the pick of the batters from both sides. However, this ton on one of the most difficult pitches in cricket history has put him way above Kohli’s 46-run knock in the first inning.
