The India Cricket Team gears up to prepare for the upcoming IND vs SA 2nd Test. After a humiliating loss in the 1st Test, Rohit Sharma and Co are ready to level to series. Ahead of the 2nd Test, India had an optional practice in Centurion. Among the major missing are the Indian Centurion heroes, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
India had a disaster class in batting against the Proteas. But the only highlight were the heroics put up by KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. But in the optional practice on 30th December, the two star batters remains missing as they enjoy a rest day to recover.
In the first innings it was owing to KL Rahul’s magnificent 101 run knock that the visitors managed to put up a decent score on the board. Virat Kohli also chipped in with a crucial 38 run knock. But the second innings was completely different. Kohli was the only Indian batter who managed to score runs.
Such was the state of the India batting order that save Kohli and Shubman Gill (26) the rest of the players managed single digit scores. Kohli lead India’s charge with a majestic 76 run knock from 82 balls.
