Check out India can get a double revenge over South Africa:

1. Revenge of defeat in 1st T20I

Insidesport
India lost the last match by 7 wickets

First and foremost, India will be seeking revenge for the defeat they had to taste last time out, at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. Rishabh Pant’s men batted first and scored 211 runs, which seemed to be a big total on that ground.

At one stage, it seemed certain that India will emerge victorious from that game, but things changed when David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen called for the big shots. The two South African batters absolutely battered the likes of Harshal Patel and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, as India ended up losing the match by 7 wickets.

2. Revenge of 2015 humiliation in Cuttack

Insidesport
South Africa humiliated India on this ground back in 2015

Besides the last game’s defeat, India will also be looking to avenge a particularly humiliating defeat from 2015, which will still be fresh in minds of many Indian fans. It was another such India vs South Africa T20I game at the Barabati Stadium, and coincidentally, it was also the second match of the series.

India batted first in that game and were bundled out for only 92 runs, with Albie Morkel, Imran Tahir and Chris Morris running riots. South Africa then chased the total easily, with 6 wickets in hand and 17 deliveries to spare. It was a humbling experience that many have not forgotten, and Rishabh Pant’s team will be determined to avenge the shame inflicted on Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team of 2015.
