That's a wrap
89.1 overs were bowled in the day and India have come out victorious. They would ideally liked a 2-day game to prepare for the Pink Ball Test but they'll take it.
Some positives are Shubman Gill returning and looking good. Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja both inspiring confident and Nitish Reddy continuing to impress.

India win by 6 wickets
India's won the match but they'll carry on batting. Three overs remain and considering you don't often get to face the pink ball in first-class matches, Washington Sundar and Sarfaraz Khan will continue to bat.

Jadeja gone for 27
Jadeja has fallen to part-timer Matthew Renshaw. His off-spin has done the trick. He invited Jadeja to hit him for a big one and Jadeja takes up the offer. The result doesn't go in the all-rounder's favour who's caught and bowled.

24 runs need, 6 overs left
India should easily win the match. They were clinical with the ball and despite retiring out two batters, will win the match with a couple of overs to spare.

200 up
India need just 41 runs to win now. Washington and Jadeja have both been scoring quickly and India should win the match with score balls to spare.

Gill retires, Nitish Reddy bowled
Shubman Gill has retired after scoring an fifty. Fascinatingly, Nitish Reddy gets out on the very next ball and therefore two new batters are in the middle.
Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar to get some valuable batting practice late at night.

50 for Shubman Gill
Just 62 balls it's taken Shubman Gill to hit an half-century. All the focus was on his finger but it looks like he's fit as a fiddle and ready for the pink ball Test in Adelaide.

India easing through
The partnership between Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shubman Gill has crossed 65 runs. They look in complete control with no one barring Scott Boland troubling them at all. Spinner Llyod Pope has been wayward and is getting aptly punished by both. Pope has always leaked 30 runs in 3 overs.

Rohit Sharma departs!
Rohit Sharma's stint at the crease lasts for a very short time as the Indian batter is sent packing for just 3 runs. The Indian skipper joined the side just before the warm-up game in Adelaide.
