IND vs PAK World Cup: The ICC T20 World Cup, scheduled in Australia, is just around three weeks away. The preparations in Australia for the mega event is in full swing at different venues. Likewise, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which will host India vs Pakistan clash on October 23, is also in their preparations phase. Besides the two aforementioned matches, MCG will also five other matches. The big match between Australia and England will also be played at the venue. It is one of the most iconic grounds in the world.

In fact, big matches are always played at this venue. And it does not get any bigger than the India Pakistan clash in the World Cup. No wonder tickets for the clash were sold out within hours.

The game assumes even greater significance with the two teams limited to such ICC and ACC competitions only. Though, they did meet twice in the Asia Cup, the World Cup clash is always the epitome of matches.

India have been pooled alongside Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and two other teams in the Super 12. India will be playing two matches at MCG. They will also meet the top team (B1) in the first round of the competition. And if they qualify for the final, they will play their third match at the venue.

Besides, MCG, the other venues for the World Cup Super 12 are Adelaide (Adelaide Oval), Brisbane (The Gabba), Geelong (Kardinia Park Stadium), Hobart (Bellerive Oval), Melbourne (MCG), Perth (Perth Stadium) and Sydney (SCG)
