World Cup 2023: The high-octane blockbuster between India and Pakistan on October 14 has broken all online viewership records, going past previous record holders (CSK vs GT, IPL 2023 Final). According to Disney HotStar, the IND vs PAK match reached a peak concurrency of 3.5 crores (35 million), whereas the MS Dhoni vs Hardik Pandya clash earlier this year recorded a peak concurrency of 3.2 crores (32 million).
As far as live telecasts go (Star Sports), the viewership numbers for the World Cup 2023 match will be released a week later, after the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) releases the statistics.
