Pakistan’s batting consultant Mathew Hayden too can be seen in the hurdle and listening to the skipper who further emphasizes maintaining a positive mindset throughout the tournament.

The video also gives us glimpses from the team’s individual training sessions. The likes of Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi can be seen bowling in the nets while Babar Azam’s opening partner and Pakistan wicketkeeper M Rizwan can be seen batting.

Both teams reach ICC Cricket Academy for training: Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan have reached ICC Cricket Academy for the training sessions ahead of the match. Both teams will be training together and the visuals have already started doing rounds on the internet.

Babar Azam’s special practice session: The PCB had earlier also released a short video on their skipper Babar Azam’s special preparation routine. Azam can be seen giving up his all in the nets as well as training sessions.

12- man squad against India: Earlier in the day, Pakistan skipper revealed his side’s preparation details in the pre-match press conference and also declared the 12-man squad for the opening match against India tomorrow.
Experienced campaigners M Hafeez and Shoaib Malik have been selected in the 12-man squad while Pakistan’s Champions Trophy-winning captain Sarfraz Ahmed failed to make a cut.
