IND vs PAK LIVE: India have been blessed with some quality batters in their Asia Cup squad. The big two being Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli amongst others. If all-rounder Hardik won the match against Pakistan, Suryakumar hit an eye catching half century against HongKong in the Asia Cup so far. It is this recent form, which seems to be worrying the Pakistan pacer ahead of the big game.

“Suryakumar Yadav and Pandya are key players for India, the way they have been performing for them. We need to dismiss them early so India can struggle. We should not allow them to spend more time on the crease. It is going to be a good thing for us if we managed to dismiss them early,” Rauf said in a pre-match press conference.

It is not just the form. Both the players style suit the T20 format. They are aggressive players and possess the ability to change the game on its head.

Suryakumar can bat anywhere in the middle order. Irrespective of his batting position, he does not take much time to settle down. He can start smacking balls for sixes from ball one, which makes him a special player. He hits the ball in various parts of the ground so setting the field against him is tough.

When it comes Pandya, the all-rounder can score runs at a brisk pace. He is a brilliant finisher. More importantly, he has a calm head on his shoulders, and never panics. Such approach works when one is playing a high-octane game like India vs Pakistan.

Not just SKY and Pandya: Though Rauf might have mentioned the names of Pandya and Suryakumar, India are much more than the two players. Rohit Sharma is a dangerous batter at the top of the order. He usually sets the tone for the rest of the players to follow.

Then India also possesses Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. Both of them are dangerous, but the problem has been their form. Rahul has not impressed like the way he would. And Kohli despite the two innings in the Asia Cup has not been too convincing. If these players are not enough, India also have Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik. It is evident Pakistan bowlers have their task cut out against the strong Indian batting line-up.
