IND vs PAK Live: Hardik Pandya confirms he won’t bowl against Pakistan!
Hardik Pandya confirmed at the after-toss chat on Star Sports Network that his back is still jittery and he won’t be bowling against Pakistan for now. He is hoping to be in full strength as the tournament progresses and hopes to bowl closer to knockouts.
“The back is fine, it was jittery, but I won’t be bowling for now. I want to be able to bowl eventually, closer to the knockouts. The professionals and I both have to take the call about when I can have a bowl, “ Hardik said during the chat.
On being asked about he copes up with the hyped situation of the clash, Hardik says he stays sway from social media and his family also makes sure of not getting too excited about the clash.
“I don’t like to get too hyped by the situation, and my family make sure of that too. I stay away from social media because you do get excited and get the vibes. It’s simple, and we leave emotions out of the way, and keep things professional. We make sure we tick the right boxes, and do the processes right,” Hardik said.
Hardik hit on the shoulder, didn’t take the field against Pakistan: The India all-rounder didn’t take the field against Pakistan after being hit on the shoulder. He was seen holding his shoulder during India’s innings. He will undergo scans on his shoulder for precautionary measures.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first. Haider Ali misses out for Pakistan while Ishan Kishan, R Ashwin miss out from India’s Playing XI.
