Naseem seen in tears

Naseem was seen in tears and went off the field as soon as he bowled his final over. The Pakistani pacer was on debut and had done well initially to dismiss KL Rahul for golden duck and give India an early scare, he almost got the better of Virat Kohli in the same over as well, only to be dropped by the third slip.

It is thought that Naseem was struggling with cramps and was seen in unbearable pain. He was struggling to cope with the demands, but still bowled his final over. He ended with a proud tally of 27/2, but that was not enough as Pakistan lost the contest by five wickets.

Eventful final over

Naseem came into ball when the match was still in the balance and a wicket at that stage could have switched the momentum to either team’s side. 32 were needed from 18 deliveries as the nail-biting match had interesting twist. Despite conceding a wide and a four on the first two balls, Naseem made a comeback to bowl back-to-back dot balls. This was then followed by a LBW appeal on Ravindra Jadeja, which was given in his favour.

Ravindra Jadeja, initially given out, took the DRS and was saved as the ball pitched outside the leg stump. Jadeja would then make the most of his life as he scored a six on he penultimate ball to put India in driving seat.

In between every delivery, Naseem was seen taking to the deck and somehow managing to ball the next delivery. The DRS call also gave him enough rest and allowed the physios to have a closer look on cramps.

India floor Pakistan in BIG GAME

India completed their T20 World Cup revenge with a 5-wicket win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup. India struggled but an all-rounder Hardik Pandya show and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s terrific spell powered India over Pakistan. Hardik bagged 3/25 and remained unbeaten on 33 off 17 to take India home. Ravindra Jadeja also played a steady 35-run knock. Virat Kohli also scored 35 as India chased down 148 runs with 2 balls to spare.

Chasing a target of 148, India did not have a great start. Naseem Shah bowled a magical first spell on debut, removing KL Rahul for a golden duck. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli did their best to steady the ship with a 49-run partnership off 46 balls but Rohit struggled to get going.
