The incident happened during the 10th over of the Indian innings. A young fan managed to breach the security and went straight to Rohit to give him a hug while he was batting on 37 runs. The security staff at the stadium rushed to take the fan off the field, but Rohit Sharma tried to save the young boy. Rohit Sharma said, “he’s a kid”. Then, security men who were running behind the boy grabbed the teenager and took him off the ground.
