IND vs NZ: Virat Kohli’s biggest supporter Anushka Sharma to attend his 300th ODI in Dubai

According to the report, Virat Kohli's biggest supporter, Anushka Sharma, is set to attend her husband's 300th ODI match milestone

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, wife of Virat Kohli, is set to arrive in Dubai on Sunday to support her husband in his milestone match against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025. Also coming to light is that Kohli’s elder brother, Vikas Kohli, will be present for India’s final group-stage game of the tournament.

Kohli, who recently crossed the 14,000-run mark in ODIs, is now on the verge of adding another remarkable achievement to his illustrious career as he gears up to play his 300th ODI on Sunday. He will become only the seventh Indian cricketer to reach this milestone, joining legends like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. Also, he will be the 23rd player in international cricket to achieve this feat.

To celebrate this special occasion, his wife Anushka Sharma will be in the stands, as sources close to ANI have confirmed her presence at the stadium for the crucial encounter. “Anushka Sharma and Vikas Kohli (Virat Kohli’s elder brother) will arrive in Dubai tomorrow for Virat Kohli’s 300th ODI match,” sources stated.

BCCI family travel guidelines for Indian players

Although Anushka Sharma is set to visit, her stay is unlikely to be long. However, it is important to note that after India’s series loss to Australia earlier this year, the BCCI introduced stricter regulations regarding the time players can spend with their families during tours. According to the policy, immediate family members, partners, and children can accompany the player for up to two weeks on tours lasting more than 45 days. However, for shorter tours, the duration is restricted to just seven days.
