IND vs NZ Test: After being humiliated in the T20I series, New Zealand will be hoping to get back on track when the Test series kicks off this week. After their drubbing in the third and final T20I in Kolkata on Sunday, the Blackcaps will now travel to Kanpur, the venue for the first IND vs NZ Test. Some of the Kiwi stars have already arrived at the venue, while the members who are also part of the T20 squad will arrive on Monday.

New Zealand will take on India in a two-Test series starting with the first Test at Kanpur later this week. While the members who were only part of the T20 squad will leave for home, the rest of the contingent including Tim Southee will join with Kane Williamson and Co. as they prepare for the first Test. The likes of Trent Boult, James Neesham have returned home after the T20I series, while Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Tom Latham and Co. will be at the forefront during the series.

IND vs NZ Test: India, New Zealand arrive in Kanpur ahead of Test series
IND vs NZ 1st Test: The Indian squad are also on their way to Kanpur as they prepare for the first Test. While the members from the T20I squad will be heading back from Kolkata, while the regulars of the Indian Test squad will be joining from Mumbai having been part of a training camp in the Bandra Kurla Complex. Cheteshwar Pujara, Mayank Agarwal, Ajinkya Rahane were all part of the camp and will look to make their mark in the series. The series marks New Zealand’s first tour of India since 2016, with Ajinkya Rahane leading the side in the first Test.
