IND vs NZ LIVE: Crowd went Berserk in Ranchi during India vs New Zealand 1st T20. It was not due to some player on the field but because of their own MS Dhoni who was in the stands in the stadium. On a post-match broadcast on Star Sports, New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham was questioned about the ferocious fan support Dhoni had despite having retired from international cricket a few years prior. A remarkable response was provided by the left-handed hitter and right-arm seam bowler. Check Here. Follow India vs NewZealand T20 LIVE updates with InsideSport.IN
Dhoni and his wife Sakshi were spotted watching the first T20I between India and New Zealand from the stands at the JSCA International Stadium. When the visuals of couple were screened on the stadium’s screen, the crowd went bonkers, to say the least.

“It’s a great feeling actually. You sort of feel, you can fly under the radar. No one is really there to watch you bat or bowl. Everyone is there to watch someone else. I always quite enjoyed it to be honest, coming to India knowing that the pressure will be on someone else,” Neesham in the post-match show said.

Sakshi only grinned as the 41-year-old was seen waving to his supporters.
Indian cricketers like Washington Sundar received advice from the renowned wicketkeeper-batter. Dhoni also made time to meet Devon Conway, his teammate at the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The two were seen chatting, and they will be back together in a few months when CSK starts its preparations for the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) season.
