IND vs NZ Live: Washington Sundar left fans and experts stunned with a superb effort on the field during the India vs NZ 1st T20I at Ranchi on Friday. The off-spinner bowling his only second over of the match dismissed dangerous-looking Finn Allen in the second over of the match and then on the final ball of the over he got the better of left-handed Mark Chapman. The fifth over of the first innings saw Sundar getting two crucial wickets. The off-spinner took the first wicket off the second ball with a slower delivery. Finn Allen who was playing well, went for an aggressive hit but couldn’t make the proper contact. The Kiwi opener ended up holing it out to Suryakumar Yadav towards deep square leg.

Just three balls later, Sundar showcased his excellent acrobatic fielding to dismiss Mark Chapman. Sundar bowled another loopy delivery as the left-handed batter tried to defend the delivery. However, the extra bounce did the trick for Sundar as the ball hit the sticker of bat and flew to the right of the bowler. Sundar puts in brilliant dive to pull off a terrific one-handed catch.

Sundar was simply impressive with the ball as he made the most of the turning track in Ranchi. Speaking about his figures, the right-arm spinner bowled his full four-over quota. Sundar gave away just 22 runs and scalped two big wickets.
Meanwhile, the Kiwis have managed to post a competitive of 176 runs in their allotted 20 overs. NewZealand innings was powered by fifties from Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell. While Conway played his part, it was Mitchell who did the real damage as he smashed 27 runs to Arshdeep in the final over of the first innings.
