Rohit Sharma scored his 26th half-century in T20Is against New Zealand, etching his name into the record books on Sunday. The Hit-Man returned to his famous hunting ground of Kolkata, and the Indian captain turned up with a fine innings to steer his team to a good start.
Rohit Sharma was at his aggressive best in the powerplay taking the attack to the New Zealand bowlers. The Indian captain during his innings, hit his 150th six in T20Is, becoming the first batsman to do so. Sharma then went on to score his 26th T20I fifty, taking his tally of 50+ scores to 30, surpassing Virat Kohli’s record for the most in T20 internationals.
