Dhoni has often shared his wisdom with the Indian team since his retirement from the game. But whenever India plays a game at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, it becomes special for the local hero. He not only visits the team but also attends practice. The same happened yesterday when he paid a visit to watch Hardik Pandya and Co.

Yesterday, Mentor Singh Dhoni spent considerable time with Hardik Pandya & Co besides Team India analyst during practice in Ranchi. The former India captain also held conversations with Ishan Kishan, another local boy.

Kishan will keep wickets, and Dhoni being one of the finest ever, passed on some advice to the gloves man. Hardik all soaked in whatever the former captain had to say as he prepares for another series as captain. A young India squad was visibly pleased to see him up close. While the likes of Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar have spent considerable time with him, youngsters like Shaw, Shivam Mavi and Jitesh Sharma had a look at how the captain cool thinks.
But MS Dhoni didn’t just meet the Indian squad. He also spent some time chatting with fellow CSK teammate Devon Conway. The Kiwi opener who spent a season with Dhoni for the yellow army was spotted engrossed in a deep conversation with the CSK skipper. The former India skipper shared some valuable advice for the Kiwi opener as he aims to continue his fine form.
Conway became a real menace to India in the 3rd ODI where he waged a lone war against India. He slammed a fine century to keep the Kiwis in contention of picking up a consolation win, but following his dismissal, India made a comeback into the game to seal the series 3-0.
