MS Dhoni & Virat Kohli vs Rohit Sharma & Hardik Pandya: Team India had an off-day on Friday & in the latest video shared by BCCI, Virat Kohli and Co. can be seen utilizing it to the full. Team India indulged in a game of beach volleyball for unwinding ahead of the crucial game against New Zealand.
The Indian players can be seen divided into groups of two with the likes of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer in one team and Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, and others in the other team.
India’s batting coach Vikram Rathour too can be seen having an off day and teamed up against MS Dhoni & Co.

Earlier, the players were seen training hard in the nets, especially India skipper Virat Kohli who batted for 45 long minutes in the nets. Sharing Virat Kohli’s net session video, ICC wrote, “Kishan and Iyer left in awe of Kohli’s brilliance. @ishankishan23 and @shreyas41 were left short of words watching @virat.kohli in all his glory in the nets.”

Mohammad Shami back in the groove: Earlier on Thursday, Mohammad Shami too shared a post of his training session ahead of the clash with New Zealand. Mohammad Shami can be seen discussing swing, seam, or bounce with India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The experienced duo is also joined by IPL 2021’s young pace sensation Umran Malik and Delhi Capitals’ Avesh Khan. Both were added as India’s net bowler after a superb IPL campaign.

India & New Zealand will face each other on October 31 in Dubai. The match will act as a virtual quarterfinal of the showpiece event as it may become nearly impossible for the losing side to advance into the next round. Both India & New Zealand have lost their respective opening fixtures to Pakistan.
