Harshal Patel was one of the shining lights of the IPL 2021, winning the purple cap for his efforts equalling Dwayne Bravo’s record for most wickets in a season. After his shoot, the pacer from Harayana took to social media hoping that it was not a “final destination” but the beginning of a new journey.

Patel wrote, “Not the final destination but certainly an extremely rewarding milestone. Took me a while to get here and I am grateful for every experience on the way. The journey will continue and with it all the ups and downs. I’m forever indebted to my family and friends who helped me get here. It’s time to enjoy this opportunity and contribute in whatever capacity I can.”
