Rohit Sharma led India were dominant throughout the series and eventually managed a 3-0 sweep over New Zealand on Sunday. In the latest video released on BCCI’s official Twitter handle, Harshal Patel and Axar Patel can be seen in a little chat session post-match.
To start with, Harshal Patel ask Axar Patel how does it feel after being adjudged as man of the match for his game-changing spell in the powerplay, returning with the final figures of 3-9 in his three over.
In reply, Axar Patel teases Harshal asking if the fast bowler had already planned to take back a few awards – Man of the Match on debut in 2nd T20I & the game-changer award in the 3rd T20I. Harshal gets cheeky and says, “Bina Bohni kiye wapis nahi jana.”

On Sunday, India beat New Zealand by 73 runs with Rohit Sharma and Axar Patel starring in the match at the Eden Gardens. It was a second back-to-back bilateral T20I series triumph with a clean sweep for India after beating the Black Caps 5-0 in their own den in 2020.
The focus now shifts towards the 2-match Test series that gets underway in Kanpur from November 25. The 2nd Test will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai from December 03.
