IND vs NZ Live: Who will Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid choose between Shami, Shardul & Umran
Following the performance in the 1st ODI it is highly unlikely that Siraj and Kuldeep will be dropped for the second match. With only one place up for grabs the axe is more likely to fall on either Mohamad Shami or Shardul Thakur. Both Thakur and Shami did not have a good game against New Zealand in Hyderabad.

Thakur did not perform well in the IND vs NZ 1st ODI. Despite taking two wickets, Shardul leaked runs and also failed to contribute with the bat. Shami also leaked runs going over six runs per over and picking up just one wicket. With India looking to wrap up the series in Raipur captain Rohit Sharma is likely to bench either one between the two and possibly bring in Umran Malik. Speaking of‘Jammu Express’ Umran bowled well in the series against Sri Lanka and his pace will certainly trouble the Kiwi batsmen.
How could India’s probabale playing XI look ?
Rohit Sharma is likely to retain a majority of the players in the final XI with only the bowling lineup likely to see some change. After the double century in the 1st ODI, Shubman Gill will continue to partner Rohit Sharma at the top. Virat Kohli missed out on a big score in Hyderabad however he will be hungry for a big one in Raipur. The middle order is likely to have any changes with Ishan Kishan looking to make the chance count at No.4.

Suryakumar Yadav got the start in Hyderabad but failed to convert it into a big score. The World No 1 T20I batsman will be eyeing for a big knock in front of the fans in Raipur. The all-rounder department will be handled by Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar.
Kuldeep will continue to handle the spin department with Yuzvendra Chahal on the bench. Mohammad Shami will be part of the playing XI despite being hit on the thumb in the opening ODI. Umran Malik is likely to be the final player with Shardul Thakur likely to face the axe.
India’s probable XI: Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur / Umran Malik.
