Chasing 284 runs target, Will Young was given LBW out on the last ball of the 3rd over. It was a flighted delivery from R Ashwin that didn’t bounce much and went on to hit Young’s front pad. The impact was around the middle stump and Young was given out from on-field umpire Virender Sharma.
Young then had a long discussion with his opening partner Tom Latham and decided to go for the review. However, the Kiwi opener was late by a couple of seconds as the DRS timer had already gone to zero. Team India skipper Ajinkya Rahane and R Ashwin were quick to point out the same to the umpires and eventually, Will Young was denied of the DRS.

However, had Young reviewed the decision in time, he surely would have survived. The replay of the LBW showed the ball clearly missing the leg stump by a huge margin as it turned out to be another dismal umpiring from Virender Sharma.
