He has joined the likes of outgoing India T20 captain Virat Kohli and New Zealand opener Martin Guptill. Rohit Sharma is now all set to take T20I captaincy after Virat Kohli’s exit as skipper of the shortest format.

“Now I think it’s time for the next lot to take this team forward. Obviously, Rohit(vice-captain) is here and he’s overlooking things for a while now,” Kohli said at the toss.
