India will take on Ireland in the first T20I on Friday (August 18). Jasprit Bumrah will lead a second-string team, as the first-choice players have been given rest. All eyes will be on Bumrah, who is returning to the squad after 11 months. The pacer’s fitness will be keenly watched as he gets ready for the two major global events in two months.
Apart from Bumrah, even Prasidh Krishna is making from a long injury layoff. Both pacers are vital components for India during Asia Cup and World Cup.
