IND vs ENG: Yashasvi Jaiswal learnt Bazball from England? Rohit Sharma takes a dig at Ben Duckett

IND vs ENG: Rohit Sharma made a string statement that Yashasvi Jaiswal didn't need to take a cue from Bazball to play aggressive cricket.

When it comes to witty replies, no one come close to India skipper Rohit Sharma. While addressing the media on the eve of the final Test against England in Dharamshala, Rohit once again, delivered a masterclass. The opener took a hilarious dig at England’s Ben Duckett.

This was Rohit’s response to Duckett’s comments made on Yashasvi Jaiswal, for his aggressive batting in Tests, being a result of Bazball influence. “When you see players from the opposition playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they’re playing differently than how other people play Test cricket,” Duckett had said.

The India captain made it clear, that Duckett might not have seen Rishabh Pant bat in Test cricket. “There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn’t seen him play.”

Meanwhile, Duckett’s comments had attracted a lot of criticism. Former West Indies batsman Chris Gayle went on to say, “Attacking cricket has been played for years, even before Chris Gayle actually set foot on the international scene as well. We had the likes of Viv Richards, those guys set it up for us.

“Brian Lara, those guys are attacking players in all formats as well. When you actually check their stats, do check how they went about their innings,” Gayle had said.
