Team India skipper Rohit Sharma will be eyeing a special record in the upcoming 5-match IND vs ENG Test series, starting on January 25.
The Indian opener, who has already smashed record for most sixes in international cricket last year, is now just 14 sixes away from becoming the Indian player with most sixes in Test cricket.
Currently, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag holds the record with 91 sixes in 104 Test matches. Rohit, who is third on the list with 77 needs 14 sixes to surpass Sehwag.
The 36-year-old just need two sixes to overtake former Indian captain MS Dhoni, who is second on the list with 78 sixes in 90 Test matches.
