IND vs ENG 4th Test: Joe Root breaks shackles of poor form, slams gritty fifty in IND vs ENG Ranchi Test

England Cricket Team star batter Joe Root finally breaks his shackles to register a fine fifty in the IND vs ENG Test series. The star English batter had to wait for his 7th innings in the series to register his maiden fifty in the series. After being criticised from his poor form, the Fab 5 batter finally rescues England from a batting collapse.

England has been dreaming for a grand innings from the star batter for the past 3 Tests. But nothing doing. Root finally gained his composure. Adjusted himself to shy away from Bazball approach, and played his own style to find himself back among the runs in the Ranchi Test.

His previous highest score in the series came in the 1st innings of the first game in Hyderabad where he managed 29 runs. Following which he consistently faltered with the bat. But in Ranchi when England’s top order collapsed, Root came to his side’s rescue.

He played cautiously, hitting just 4 fours and rotating the strike in singles. Root remained cautious to Jadeja after becoming his bunny in the previous Test. Pundits have often claimed that Root is unable to adjust to Bazball and should shy away from the same.

Root will hope to continue scoring runs to help his side post a big total in the game. It is imperative that Root and England performs well. With series on the line, it is all out attack the only way to save the Three Lions.
