Ind vs ENG LIVE, T20 World Cup: India vs England Warmup Match: With the IPL 2021 done and dusted, the focus now shifts towards the seventh edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 which is slated to begin on October 17, Sunday in Oman. The tournament was set to take place in India, but a COVID-19 surge in the country forced it to relocate and now Oman and UAE will host the event together. Two warmup matches for India: The first round of warm-up games featuring Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and other associate nations took place on October 12 and 14. In the second round of warm-up fixtures, the top eight teams who have already qualified for the Super 12 stage will be in action on October 18 and October 20. India will be taking on England on October 18 in the first warmup game before facing off Australia on October 20 in the second game. Both the warmup games will be played at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.
Big test for SuryaKumar Yadav & Hardik Pandya: While most of India’s current squad has looked good and well in rhythm in the recently concluded IPL 2021, the main concerns will be the form of Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya. The Mumbai Indians duo looked off-color in the tournament and struggled to find the mojo. While it has been already cleared that Hardik Pandya won’t be bowling in WC T20, now all the focus transfers to his batting form. Pandya averages 14.11 with the bat in the recently concluded tournament while Surya’s performance has also dipped to just 22.64 average.

England eyes fine-tuning its playing XI: England is one of the favourites to win their second T20 World Cup title. They are sitting at pole position in ICC World T20I rankings with India, Pakistan, and New Zealand trailing behind.
