KL Rahul expresses, ‘Test cricket is very close to my heart’
The right handed Indian batsman deliberated the importance Test matches have had in his life, a format that not his father and coach but he wanted to play for India. Besides, Rahul was humble enough to take the onus on himself when he was dropped from the Test side following his poor performance. He is elated to come back ferociously after two years and mentioned that the ton at Lord’s would always feel special.
Had cluttered mind earlier, two shots on one ball, says Rahul
The 29-year-old talked about how he overcame the obstacles that were earlier an impediment in his batting performance. Rahul deliberated how he was just after runs even in the Tests and had confusions of playing two shots on one ball.
Rahul furthered how he consciously worked on the loopholes of his batting, watching other players build up innings and practicing immensely during the time when he was away from Test cricket.
Rahul reveals he draws inspiration from his past
On being inquired by Sharma, Rahul revealed that he doesn’t carry any baggage from his past rather sees it as a motivation that pushes him an extra mile. Now that he is back in the whites, Rahul wants to make the most of the opportunity.

The opening pair who not just got India a solid start of 97 runs in the first Test but also ensured a rock hard start of 126 runs in the second Test want to continue doing the same for the country.
