In an official statement, the Edgbaston Stadium has announced that tickets for Day Five of IND vs ENG 5th Test will be available for free. The tickets for the game have gone live at 5 PM local time on Monday and are only available at tickets.edgbaston.com.
The limit of four tickets per person has been set and a full house is expected to see the final day action. For fans who have already purchased Day 5 tickets, the tickets will remain valid while an automatic refund will be processed to the original payment method.
While the tickets are free, supporters are encouraged to make voluntary donations to the Bob Willis Fund and the Edgbaston Foundation. The move comes after Trent Bridge and Headingley had adopted the same during England’s series against New Zealand, with a packed crowd cheering on those wins.

Warwickshire CEO Stuart Cain said: “Over 90,000 people have been to Edgbaston this week to experience the pinnacle of the sport and two world-class teams. With limited play expected and a thrilling finish in store, we wanted to open our doors and offer the opportunity to watch Test cricket at Edgbaston to as many people as possible, perhaps even for the first time.”
He added, “We’re proud to also be supporting two great charities in the Bob Willis Fund and Edgbaston Foundation, with fans having the opportunity to make a donation when claiming tickets.”

The home crowd meanwhile could gear up to say a fourth straight win as Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow have put them in a position of strength at Stumps on Day 4. The Yorkshire duo scored half-centuries as England need only 119 runs on the final day with seven wickets in hand. Should England win, it will be their highest ever run chase in history, beating the 359 they chased down at Headingley against Australia in 2019.
