IND vs ENG: Jasprit Bumrah owns England with both bat and ball

On Friday, Bumrah played an innings of 26 in the IND vs ENG 3rd Test to add some valuable runs for India.

When we talk about Jasprit Bumrah, a fiery bowler with controlled swing comes to one’s mind. He is not usually associated with batting, but Bumrah has owned England both with the bat and the ball. The lanky pacer has scored over 20 runs in only 5 instances in Test, and each one of them has come against England.

Jasprit Bumrah has taken aim at 'well wishers' for showing support after he was announced as the new Test No. 1 bowler.

31* – v ENG Birmingham 2022
28 – v ENG Nottingham 2021

Bumrah has been in blistering form with the ball in the IND vs ENG series so far. The pacer had taken six wickets in the IND vs ENG 1st Test, including a 4-fer in the second innings. Although those wickets came in a losing cause, he upped the ante in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test. The pacer bulldozed through the England batting line-up, taking nine wickets in the match including a 6-wicket haul in the first innings.

However, Bumrah has contributed with some important runs in the series too. On Friday, the bowler played an innings of 26 in the IND vs ENG 3rd Test to add some valuable runs for India. He played the innings at a brisk pace, hitting three boundaries and 1 over-boundary. This was the fifth time he scored over 20 runs in Tests, and all five of them have come against the Three Lions. It can be said that Bumrah has a thing for England.
