Bazball born in Pakistan and died in India: Fans bash England as India win series 4-1

There were a lot of talks about England's attacking brand of cricket before Ben Stokes' side arrived in India but England proved no match for India who were missing quite a few key players.

India on Saturday bundled England out for just 195 runs in their 2nd innings to win by an innings and 64 runs in the IND vs ENG 5th Test. With the victory, India completed a 4-1 rout of England in the 5-match series. Social users bashed England’s ‘Bazball’ strategy and praised India’s resilience as Rohit Sharma’s men outplayed England.

The Indian cricket team started the 5-match series with a loss as Ben Stokes’ side aimed to become the first side since 2012 to hand India a series defeat in India. However, India fought their way back brilliantly in the following Tests to win all the remaining four matches as Ben Stokes’ side struggled for form.

Indian cricket team clinched a 3-1 series win against England in a five-match Test series. BCCI is likely to increase the Test salary.

India rode on a lot of brilliant performances. Yashasvi Jaiswal had a career-defining series, scoring over 700 runs in the five matches. Captain Rohit Sharma chipped in with a couple of centuries as debutants Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel also impressed with the bat.

India’s bowling was led by Ravichandran Ashwin who completed a host of milestones including 100 Test matches and 500 Test wickets in this series. He was ably assisted by the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and others.

Cricket lovers took to social media after the match to share their reactions about the series. While some speculated about the future of ‘Bazball’, while others hailed India for their mentality.
