The England batters aren’t standing a chance against Kuldeep Yadav’s spin and so is wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel in IND vs ENG 3rd Test. The Test debutant faced the wrath of a vicious googly from the leg spinner as he completely missed it. Stokes, who failed to pick the delivery, was happy with the four free runs that he got.

IND vs ENG: Jurel gets a taste of Kuldeep Yadav’s googly

The incident occurred in the third ball of the 54th over. Kuldeep bowled a tossed up googly which Stokes failed to pick on. He attempted to defend it by moving forward. However, the extra bounce forced to ball to fly over mid and leg stump. Jurel, who was behind the wicket, failed to track the delivery as it flew past him to the boundary behind.

Yadav bowled a sensational spell in the 1st session on Day 3. He grabbed two out of the three wickets that were taken in the session. The spinner got rid of the dangerous Ben Duckett, finally bringing the curtains down on his standout 153-run knock.

His other victim was Jonny Bairstow. Yadav managed to trap the English batter with a delivery that turned sharp and rapped him on the pad. Bairstow attempted to review the ‘out’ decision given by the on-field umpire – who took quite some time to raise his finger. The review went for a toss, with no bat involved and the ball tracking displaying three reds.
