Team India has received a big injury scare ahead of IND vs ENG 1st Test, starting on January 25 in Hyderabad. During India’s practice session, Shreyas Iyer was hit on his right forearm while batting at nets on Tuesday. The Indian batter tried to bat on but failed and eventually walked off.
With just two days before the start of the game, Iyer’s injury comes as a big blow who will be without their star batter Virat Kohli after he pulled out of first two Tests due to personal reasons.

With Kohli’s absence, Shreyas Iyer’s inclusion in the playing XI was certain but the injury has raised doubts over his availibity for the opening Test.
