England opener Ben Duckett ‘bazballed’ his way to a blazing fifty on Day 2 of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot on Friday, February 15.
Duckett registered his half-century in 39 balls as England openers took on Indian bowlers in Rajkot. The pair put on 89 in just 13 overs before Ravichandran Ashwin got Crawley caught on 15 to end the entertaining partnership.
Earlier, India were bowled out for 445 in the first innings. Rohit Sharma (131) and Ravindra Jadeja (112) stitched a 204-run partnership to help India post a big total on a flat deck.
Debutants Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel also impressed with solid knocks. Sarfaraz hit 62, while Jurel scored 46.
For England, Mark Wood was the pick of the bowlers with four scalps to his name.
