BCCI announces India squad for first 2 IND vs ENG Test series, Dhruv Jurel gets chance as Pujara misses out

Rohit Sharma will lead India’s Test squad as BCCI announces India’s squad for first 2 Test against England. India has fielded a strong side against England including some new additions like Dhruv Jurel. After drawing the series against South Africa, India will look for a dominating win against the Three Lions.

Cheteshwar Puajara remains missing even after some remarkable performances in the domestic circuit. As for the regular absentees, Mohammed Shami and Ruturaj Gaikwad are missing after being injured.

India have fielded a very strong squad for the first Two Test matches. Adding to the list of a formidable batting line up, Dhruv Jurel has been added to the squad as a backup keeper. In terms of the pace attack, Avesh Khan has been added to the squad, as Mohammed Shami continues to recover from ankle injury.
