A day before the IND vs ENG 5th Test which starts on Thursday, 7th March, India kept an optional net session. Although a lot of members from the Test squad decided to give the session a miss, some members were seen practicing hard.
Among them was Yashasvi Jaiswal who leads the scoring charts in the series. Jaiswal is having a dream run at the moment. In spite of the good form, the Indian opener was seen toiling hard on the nets.
Other than Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Akash Deep, Rajat Patidar and Mukesh Kumar were also seen to attend the practice. Perhaps the most surprising of the lot was Ravichandran Ashwin.
